Laissez le bon temps rouler! (Let the good times roll!)

I love being from New Orleans. One of my favorite childhood memories is of watching Mardi Gras parades and eating king cake.

With Mardi Gras arriving this Tuesday, 2/16, I wanted to create a piece celebrating the holiday. The colors of Mardi Gras are bold and bright, so I just needed to find a shape that would show off the energy of the holiday. Using the fractal I've used from my Folds series, I got the energy I wanted.
